Our Requirements


To rent a property from Codys we ask that you fill out an application form. These can be collected at either of our offices or requested whilst viewing a property.
We take an administration fee to withdraw the property from marketing as we only take one applicant for each of our properties.
We ask that you supply us with 2 references, which can be:

  • A previous or current landlord
  • A previous or current employer
  • A character reference from somebody of standing in the community


We also take a Home-Owner Guarantor for all of our properties

The Guarantor will enter into the tenancy agreement with the Tenant and the Landlord. Consenting to meet the terms of the agreement the Home-Owner Guarantor will be liable for any damages, outstanding rent and other obligations in the event of the Tenant defaulting.


Paying Your Rent


We understand that different people lead very different lifestyles; to make this easier we provide our Tenants with alternative ways to pay their rent:

  • We have dedicated Rent Collectors who will attend properties upon request
  • We give Tenants the ability to pay by Standing Order direct into our bank account
  • We offer the facility for Tenants to take their rent into either of our offices
